Rochdale Rally

Having survived 'Storm Bert' in November 2024 members of PDARS dared to cross the Pennines into Lancashire for the Rochdale & District ARS summer rally. The thunder storms forecast for lunch time didn't materialise and the weather stayed mainly dry.  

The club table was manned at various times by Kevin (2E0KJD), Dave (G0VPS), Kerie (2E0LHF), and Keith (G0RLN), Dave (G4RQI) and Nathan (M7NMR).

Despite the threat of 'Storm Bert' on Saturday 23rd November members of PDARS managed to cross the Pennines into Lancashire with relative ease. Most of the snow seemed to land on the Yorkshire side of the Pennines with little on the tops and none in Lancashire.

The pictures show the traders setting up and not the actual attendance which was probably down slightly due to the weather but still well supported.
