The Pontefract and District Amateur Radio Society (PDARS) hosted the Worked All Britain (W.A.B) AGM on Sunday, 1st. June 2025.
Members of PDARS and W.A.B officers were in attendance to meet and greet visitors. The AGM was held in the 'Small Ballroom' in the Carleton Grange Community Centre. This elegant room was available from 12:00 until 4pm, with the WAB AGM starting at 12:30.
A licensed bar was open from noon while PDARS members served tea and coffee during the AGM in the meeting room itself.
The AGM was mainly attended by WAB enthusiasts from the Yorkshire region however some had travelled from as far afield as Cornwall and Northern Ireland to attend the event.

Kevin (2E0KJD) and Kerie's (2E0LHF) dedication and tenacity throughout the year collecting WAB squares paid of when they each received their individual Emerald Anniversary Awards.
Nigel (G0BPK) persistence during the year meant PDARS members picked up two contest trophies in the club category, coming 1st in the 1.8MHz and 3.5Mhz phone contests. After a sustained effort throughout the year PDARS also picked up an Emerald Anniversary Award.
