Pontefract has had a radio club since around 1952 and they would meet at the Travellers Inn in Purston near Pontefract.

Our current radio society has been in existence since 1979. We started out meeting in Knottingley town hall before moving to our present location at the Carleton Grange Community Centre, Carleton Road, Pontefract, West Yorkshire, WF8 3RJ.
